Born in Palermo, Italy, Alberto T. Badalamenti studied Architecture and Design in Milan before transitioning into fashion photography. It was in the mid 90s — when Milan was the fashion capital of the world — that he discovered his passion for the craft.
He is an award-winning photographer and creative director renowned for his minimalist aesthetics and sophisticated use of lighting, with over 20 years of experience working internationally with top magazines and advertising campaigns. His work spans portraiture and fashion editorial.
His career took him across the globe — first Spain, then London, Germany,Paris ,then New York City, where he spent several years. He has worked with major magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Elle,GQ, Marie Claire, Glamour and many others, and with clients such as Sergio Rossi, Gap, Harrods, Bacardi, Sony Records ‘Baush & Loam,M&S ,Rocco Barocco and many others.
In 2010 Alberto.B was the founder and creative director of ViktorMag, a quarterly collectible magazine of fashion, art & culture.
In 2015, Alberto B. moved to the Caribbean, where he founded a photo and video production company and worked on countless projects with many international Clients. He lived there for about 10 years. About a year ago, he returned to New York to his first love, fashion photography.
